Jonathan Schuemann is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in Florida’s retail property market. Since graduating from Stetson University in 2004, he has built a career spanning property sales and leasing, landlord and tenant representation, and property management—working with both developers and publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REITs).

Jonathan began his career at Woolbright Development learning the fundamentals of retail leasing. He quickly advanced to positions with Ramco-Gershenson Property Trust and Weingarten Realty Investors, where he was responsible for leasing shopping center space across Florida’s major markets.

Since 2009, Jonathan has served as Director of Leasing at BluRock Commercial Real Estate, LLC, a full-service brokerage firm. In this role, he focused on the third-party leasing for Kimco Realty (NYSE: KIM) across South Florida and represented national tenants—including Chuck E. Cheese’s, Red Robin, Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Chuy’s, Sport Clips and World of Beer—in identifying new sites and market opportunities from Daytona Beach to the Florida Keys.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and has recently relocated to Georgia with his wife and three children.
